One more time

One more time now, from the top...I'm getting my ass back in gear. I've been kicking an idea around for a few weeks now and I've finally started working on it tonight. I'm terribly excited but very nervous about my new baby project, because it really is a baby...I only thought of it a few weeks ago. It's so fresh and new I'm nervous I'll drop it and break it, much like a newborn. But enough weird analogies. I'm posting a little snippet of my first set tonight. I doubt anyone actually reads this except maybe Amanda because she loves me so very much, but I'm sure those of you that actually follow my work will be excited (or confused) to see new work up. I'm looking forward to hearing feedback on it and having you all on the ride with me while I help this project grow into something fantastic.

Am I Pretty Now? is a project based around makeup and beauty regimes much like my food project was based around...well, food. So many people tell me "You would look incredible if you would just accentuate certain features with the right makeup." but the truth about me is unless I have to be presentable or I feel like going through the tremendous effort of doing my makeup properly and dolling up for the day, I just don't wear makeup. I feel good about myself without it, but I know some people that would consider leaving the house without a full face of makeup akin to going to school or work naked on an important day. So, here is a bunch of makeup, displayed in a not so enticing manner. Take that L'oreal ads.
